What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
“I was excited to challenge myself with something new. I love being around people who motivate me to be the best version of myself every day, and nothing beats mornings on the water.”
Personal
- Parents are Dee and Chad Muir
- Has two younger brothers, Watt and Hale
- Father played lacrosse at Princeton, winning the national championship in 1992
- Mother competed in track & field (heptathlon) at Princeton
- Grandfather, Tom Binning, competed in track & field at Wyoming, and great grandfather, Charles Binning, competed in track & field at Iowa State
- Began rowing at the age of 20
- Majoring in humanities
- Enjoys writing and recording folk/rock music, playing guitar, baking cookies and adventuring with friends and family.
