- Bowed the First Varsity 8+ to a national title at the NCAA Championship, winning in heats (6:08.32), the A/B semifinals (6:18.459) and the Grand Final (6:10.733).
- Bowed the First Varsity 8+ to a first-place win (6:29.543) at the Big 12 Championship.
- Earned Big 12 Conference Boat of the Week honors on May 4th after defeating No. 10 Ohio State, No. 14 Virginia, No. 16 SMU and UCLA at the Longhorn Invite.
- Bowed the First Varsity 8+ to a first-place win (6:10.269) at the Longhorn Invite.
- Earned Big 12 Conference Boat of the Week honors on April 27th after a dominating performance versus No. 4 Princeton and No. 16 Rutgers in Princeton, N.J.
- Bowed the First Varsity 8+ to victory over No. 4 Princeton and No. 16 Rutgers, winning with a time of 6:18.6 at Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J.
- Earned Big 12 Conference Boat of the Week honors on April 13th after a stand-out performance at No. 6 Michigan
- Bowed the First Varsity 8+ to victory over No. 6 Michigan, winning with a time of 6:09.80 at Belleville Lake, Mich.
- Bowed the First Varsity 8+ in the 2022 San Diego Crew Classic, finishing first in the heat (6:43.845) and the final (6:26.265) to win the Collegiate Varsity Jessop-Whittier Cup Invitational, defeating No. 9 California, No. 5 Washington, No. 15 USC and UCLA.
- Bowed the First Varsity 8+ to a pair of victories at No. 13 SMU, winning a Saturday afternoon in 6:52.61 followed by a Sunday morning win in 7:13.63 at White Rock Lake.
AS A SENIOR (2021)
- Bowed the First Varsity 8+ to victory at the NCAA Championship, winning the Grand Final with a time of 6:17.387.
- Bowed the First Varsity 8+, racing to a first-place win (6:43.279) at the Big 12 Championship.
- Earned Big 12 Conference Boat of the Week honors on May 5th, after a stand-out performance against Virginia at the Rivanna Reservoir.
- Bowed the First Varsity 8+ that defeated No. 2 Virginia with a course-record time of 6:15.2 at the Rivanna Reservoir in Charlottesville, Va.
- Earned Big 12 Conference Boat of the Week honors on April 28th, after a stand-out performance at the Longhorn Invite in Austin.
- Rowed at two-seat in the First Varsity 8+ in the 2021 Longhorn Invite, finishing first in heats (6:10.43) to advance to the A Finals, winning first overall (6:10.433).
- Bowed in the First Varsity 8+ in a dual race at No. 7 Michigan, winning with a time of 6:25.5 on Belleville Lake.
Before Texas
Rowed for Heidelberger Ruderklub in Heidelberg, Germany … two-time German national champion in the single (U-19; U-23) … competed in the 2017 World Junior Rowing Championships and the 2018 and 2019 World Rowing U23 Championships.
International
Won bronze in the German W2x at the World Rowing U23 Championships

What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
“Both my parents were successful rowers. I like just being on the water; cutting glass and enjoying the sounds the water and the boat make.”

- Parents are Ulrike and Martin Gutfleisch
- Began rowing at the age of 12
- Mother was selected for the German national rowing team for Olympic training, but was unable to compete in the Games due to injury
- Majoring in sustainability
- Enjoys spending time outdoors and meeting friends, riding her Iceland pony back home and drinking coffee in cute cafés
