Why Texas?
"I chose the University of Texas because the rowing program offers both a competitive and supportive environment. I love the team’s camaraderie and dedication to success, which strongly align with my goals and values as an athlete. I was also instantly drawn to the beautiful campus and all that the city of Austin has to offer!"
What led you to pursue rowing and what do you love most about it?
"I started rowing my freshman year of high school because I wanted to try something new and different from tennis, which I had been playing. What I love most about rowing is the sense of teamwork and rhythm. I think it’s so rewarding to work in perfect sync with others toward a common goal. The physical and mental challenge also keeps me motivated and constantly pushing myself."
