• notched a 6-3, 7-5 win over UTEP[apos]s Martina Trierweiler at the ITA Texas Regional Championship
• posted wins over Northern Arizona[apos]s Alice Walker (6-2, 6-1) and Illinois State[apos]s Ashton Nisbet (6-2, 6-2) at the UNLV Invitational

• totaled a 3-3 overall singles record and a 2-5 overall doubles record with Maya Zein-El-Abdin
• opened the fall season with victories over Tulane[apos]s Sharon Siegel (6-1, 7-5) and Jessica Lange(6-3, 1-6, 7-5) and SMU[apos]s Chanelle McGregor at the Rice Classic
AS A FRESHMAN (2008-09)
• appeared in one singles match at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships and three singles matches at the Duals in the Desert
• totaled a 2-4 overall doubles record
• teamed up with Carlene Leyden to win doubles matches in the consolation round at the ITA Southwest Regional Championships and at the Duals in the Desert
HIGH SCHOOL
• A four-time all-district selection in singles and doubles
• Qualified for the doubles draw at the 2006 Texas UIL State Championships
• Served as the team captain during her senior season at Churchill H.S.

Born Jan. 23, 1990 in San Antonio, Texas ... daughter of Paul Wiegand and Kathleen Moore ... brother, Jon (23), played tennis at Texas (2007-10) ...also has a sister, Kerry (16) ... her father, Paul, played tennis at Texas from 1971-75, and her uncle, Marc, played tennis at Texas from 1968-72 ... a liberal arts major, graduated with summa cum laude honors from Churchill H.S ... five-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll (Spring 2009, Fall 2009, Spring 2010, Fall 2010, Spring 2011)... major is psychology.
