Three-time Southland Conference Libero of the Year and First Team All-Conference selection for A&M-Corpus Christi…recognized with an AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention for the third year in a row…A&M-Corpus Christi career record holder in total digs (2,199) and digs per set (5.53)…as a junior in 2021, led the country with 6.47 digs per set…ranked 14th nationally with 5.19 digs per set as a senior in 2022…named the 2021 SLC Tournament MVP after averaging 6.57 digs per set to help the team win the SLC Tournament…also led the team with 53 service aces in 2022…three-time Southland All-Academic First-Team…2019 Southland Conference Freshman of the Year and All-Southland Second Team.

Barnes helped lead her team to four district titles and a pair of area championships ... was an all-district performer four times and earned MVP and first-team all-district honors as a junior after being named honorable mention as a sophomore and second team and co-hitter of the year as a freshman for coach Nicholas Gay ... earned academic all-district honors all four seasons and plans to major in Kinesiology ... played for Club Texas Volleyball four seven years with coach Christy Aguilar ... was an all-tournament selection at the 2018 Girls' Junior National Tournament ... qualified for nationals each of the past five years ... took third in the 17 American Division at the GJNC in 2018.
