AS A FRESHMAN (2007)
· Appeared in four matches and six games before sustaining an ankle injury in practice and missing the final 13 matches of the regular season
· Saw her first action for the Longhorns in a 3-1 loss to Penn State (8/25)
· Subbed in for two games and recorded her first career kill, dig and block in a sweep of Houston (8/31)
· Recorded three kills on four attacks and posted one block assist in a 3-0 win over Baylor (10/10)
· Teamed with Alexandra Lewis at the 2008 Collegiate Beach National Championships in San Diego, Calif., winning their pool and earning a runner-up finish in the D-Flight.

A 2007 PrepVolleyball.com All-American and was a 2006 All-State First Team pick by the Texas Sports Writers Association and Lone Star Volleyball as a senior at Vista Ridge High School ... was a three-time All-District First Team selection at Vista Ridge (2004-06) and was twice named the District Most Valuable Player (2005, 2006) ... named Central Texas Player of the Year by the Austin American Statesman in 2006 after earning second team honors in 2005 and Newcomer of the Year accolades in 2004 ... helped lead Vista Ridge to a Texas Class 4A second-place finish as a senior, after pacing her team to a 97-34 record during her four-year career ... finished her Vista Ridge career as the school[apos]s all-time leader in kills (1,615) and total blocks (432) ... earned a place on the 2006 UIL Class 4A All-Tournament Team ... garnered District Offensive MVP accolades in 2004 ... three-time Academic All-District selection (2004-06) who earned Academic All-State honors in 2006 ... led her Austin Junior Volleyball club team to a second-place finish at regionals in 2007 ... played post for the Vista Ridge basketball team for four years and ran track her freshman year ... member of the National Honor Society.
