Outdoor: Was runner-up in the Mile with a time of 4:04.36 at the Texas Relays, also finished 4th in the 5000-meter with a time of 13:57.98... Competed in the 5000-meter (13:58.93) at the Bryan Clay Invite... Scored in both the 5K and the 10K at the SEC Championships after finishing 7th in the 10K (3:27.54) and 8th in the 5K (13:56.65) totaling three points...
INDOOR: Opened his indoor season running the 3K at the Razorback Invitational in 8:03.69 to finish eighth overall...Ran the 3K in 8:02.77 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational... Competed in the 3K (8:01:77) and 5K (14:02:13) at the SEC Championships...
Cross Country: Began the season at the Stormy Seas Opener and finished third in the 5K with a time of 15:09.8... Was the top finisher for Texas at the Cowboy Jamboree in the 8K with his time of 23:45.5 and helped UT finish 4th... Recorded a personal best in the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals 8K with a time of 23:19.0 as Texas' top finisher... OUTDOOR: Finished 10th in the 5000m at the Payton Jordan Invitational with his time of 13:54.29.... Finished 9th at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in the 5000m with a time of 13:59.69...
INDOOR: Opened his indoor season at the John Thomas Terrier Collegiate Classic in the mile and finished with a time of 4:02.48... Ran a six-second PB in the 3,000-meter (7:53.72) and became the No. 3 performer in UT history at the Eagle Invite... Competed in both the 3,000-meter (8:06.63) and the 5,000-meter (14:16.08) at the Big 12 Championships.
Cross Country: Ran a personal-best in the 5K at the Southwestern-Concordia Opener with a time of 14:51.3 to finish second overall... Was sixth overall at the Cowboy Jamboree in the 8K with his time of 24:11.1... Finished in the top-50 at the 2023 Nuttycombe Invitational in the 8K finishing with a time of 24:06.2 in 47th-place... Finished 20th in the 8K at the Big 12 Championships with his time of 23:30.5... Set a PB in the 10K at the NCAA South Central Regionals in Arkansas with his time of 29:18.7 and finished fifth overall... Outdoor: Won the 1500m with a personal-best time of 3:51.73 at the USF Bulls Invitational... Was a two-time winner at the 95th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays winning the 5K with a time of 14:04.14 and winning the mile with a PB time of 4:02.21... Set a new PB in the 10K at the Mt. Sac Relays becoming the No. 2 performer in Texas history with his time of 28:47.82... Ran a PB in the 1500m with his time of 13:41.35 at the Payton Jordan Invitational... Added two bronze medal performances at the Big 12 Championships in the 5K (14:11.39) and the 10K (29:49.78)... Reached the NCAA West Prelims for the first time in his career in both the 5K and the 10K.
Indoor: Opened up his indoor season at the John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston finishing the 3K in 7:59.64 and became the No. 7 performer in Texas history...Ran the 5K in 13:55.09 at the David Hemery Valentine Invite... Made the podium in both the 3K finishing fifth with a time of 8:12.22 and the 5K finishing fourth with his time of 14:19.19 at the Big 12 Indoor Championships...
Cross Country: Opened the season winning the Tornado Watch Invitational 5K with a time of 15:35.6 and led the Longhorns to a team win... Set a 32-second personal-best in the 8K at the 2022 Cowboy Jamboree with his time of 24:29.3... Shed a minute and 20 seconds off his PB set two weeks prior in the 8K to 23:21.2 and was the top finisher for Texas for the second time in the 2022 season at the Panorama Farms Invite... Top finisher for Texas at the Big 12 Championships, finishing third with a time of 24:13.2 in the 8K and was named to the All-Big 12 Team for the first time in his career... Finished second in the 10K at the South Central Regional with a two minute personal-best time of 30:20.8 to make All-Region team... Was the second finisher for the Longhorns at the NCAA Championships in the 10K with a time of 30:11.0 and helped Texas finish 18th, overall...
2021-22 (Freshman)
OUTDOOR:Finished fifth in the 5000m with a personal-best time of 14:01.22 at the Texas Relays... Finished third in the 3000m with a time of 8:22.11 in the dual meet against Texas A&M... Ran a personal-best time in the 10K at 29:15.14 at the Mt. Sac Relays... Competed in the 5K at the Penn Relays with a time of 14:10.13… At the Big 12 Championships, competed in both the 5K and 10K and helped Texas to a team title.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
Cross Country: Made his collegiate debut at the Cowboy Jamboree and ran the 8K in 25:17.3, helping Texas finish fourth in the team standings... Was the eighth Longhorn to finish in the Garnet 8K at the FSU Invite with a time of 25:01.6 to help Texas finish 6th overall... Ran the 8K at the Big 12 Championships in 25:46.9 to help Texas finish third overall for the fourth season in a row.... Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors after finishing 22nd at the NCAA South Central Regionals in the 10K with his time of 31:42.1 to close out his cross country season.
Prior to Texas: Lettered all four years at Lubbock High in both cross country and track and field... Was a two-time South Plains Sports Cross Country Athlete of the Year... Named to the THSCA All-Academic First Team in 2020-2021... A two-time CCCAT All-State Team member and a UIL 5A 2021 State Champion in the 3200m... Competed in the Nike Cross Virtual Championships with a time of 15:54 and the H.S. CC National Invite, finishing third with a time of 15:34.
