Outdoor: Finished 4th in the 100-meter with a PB time of 10.30 at the Texas Relays and was a part of the 4x100 relay that finished 3rd with a time of 39.44… Recorded a PB wind-aided time of 10.26 in the 100-meter prelims and won the final with a time of 10.59 at the Tom Tellez Alumni Invite…Set two new PBs of 10.15 in the 100-meter and 20.64 in the 200-meter and was also on the 4x100 team finished 7th (39.01) and the 4x400 team that finished 8th (3:04.63) at the Tom Jones Invite… Won the 200-meter with a PB time of 20.35 moving him to No. 8 on UT’s all-time performer list, finished 3rd in the 100-meter with a time of 10.22, and was a part of the 4x100 team that finished 1st with a time of 39.47 at the Texas Invite... Recorded a personal best in the 200-meter at the SEC Championships with a time of 20.22 in the prelims and finished 5th in the finals (20.28) and helped Texas finish fourth in the 4x100 (38.81)... Broke the Texas 200-meter program record with a time of 20.01 at the NCAA West Prelims and helped UT qualify in the 4x100 relay... Finished seventh in the 200m (20.39) and eighth in the 4x100 (39.10) at the NCAA Championships.
INDOOR: Made his debut for UT at the Louisville Opener in the 300m and finished with a time of 35.15... Finished third in the 200m with a time of 20.99 at the Arkansas Invitational... Ran a personal best in the 200m (20.86) to finish fourth, was sixth in the 60m (6.79) and was part of the fifth-place 4x400 relay that finished in 3:12.39 at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invite... Reached the 60-meter semis and ran 6.77 and finished eighth in the 200-meter at 20.98 at the NM Collegiate Classic... Ran the 60m prelims in 6.84 and was part of the 4x400 that finished in 3:06.75 - the 16th fastest time in UT history at the Tiger Paw Invite... Competed in the 60-meter (6.76) and 200-meter (20.94) prelims at the SEC Championships...
Prior to Texas: Top marks while at UTEP - 60m (6.72), 200m indoor (20.90), 100m (10.09) and 200m (20.44)... Lettered in high school for three years in track and field... Runner-up in both the 100m and 200m at the 2023 UIL State Meet... Champion at the 2023 Regional meet in both short sprints and third in the 4x400... Holds high school 200m record at 20.90...
Personal: Son of Serrall Ivey and brother to Zion and Kristian... Track inspiration is Neisha Burgher... Chose Texas because of the athletics and academics and wanting the challenge of what UT asks of their athletes - to be the best version of themselves...
