OUTDOOR: Won both the 200-meter (23.76) and 100-meter (11.60 - PB) at the Kirk Baptiste Invitational to open the outdoor season... Competed in three events at the Texas Relays, finished 3rd in the 100-meter with PB of 11.47, ran a PB of 23.53 in the 200-meter and was a part of the 4x100 (43.43) relay that finished in 3rd… Finished 3rd in the 100-meter with a time of 11.73 at the Tom Tellez Alumni Invite... Finished 4th in the 200-meter with a time of 23.50 and was on the 4x100 team that finished in 8th (43.72) at the Tom Jones Invite…Finished 9th in the 100-meter with a PB time of 11.43, ran a PB time of 23.25 in the 200-meter to finish 2nd and was a part of the 4x100 team that finished 1st with a time of 43.53 at the Texas Invite...Competed in the 100m (11.64), 200m (23.59w) and the 4x100 (43.85) at the SEC Outdoor Championships... Ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay at the NCAA West Prelims that finished in 3:35.12.
INDOOR: Made her UT debut at the Arkansas Invitational and ran the 300-meter in 38.96 and was part of the Texas 'C' 4x400 relay... Ran a personal best in the 60-meter (7.43) and the 200-meter (23.63) at the Dr. MLK Jr. Invite... Ran the 60-meter prelims in 7.46, the 200-meter in 23.78 and part of the Texas 'B' relay that finished in 3:43.36 at the Tiger Paw Invite...
Prior to Texas: Competed in track and field all four years of high school... Entered college with personal bests in the 60m (7.40), 100m (11.43) and 200m (23.60).... Competed at the Nike Indoor Nationals in 2023 in the 60m (7.50) and the 200m (24.26)...
Personal: Daughter of Abena and Kwame Koom-Dadzie... Sister to Reena Koom Dadzie... Graduated in the top 4% of her high school... Was an AP Scholar with Honor, class officer and finished on the Honor Roll... Track inspiration is Usain Bolt because of his work ethic and his world performances and Gabby Thomas because of her ability to balance her career on and off the track... Chose Texas because of the academic reputation and the athletic success and the opportunity to work with coach Flo... Wants to work in the pediatric field after college...
