CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Texas senior Marija Milic and junior Vanja Corovic scored an opening-round victory in the main doubles draw Thursday at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships.
Corovic and Milic advanced out of the doubles round of 16 with a commanding 8-1 win over Miami's Michaela Kissell and Laura Vallverdu.
The Texas duo will meet TCU's Macall Harkins and Anna Sydorska in the quarterfinals on Friday at 8:30 a.m. Central.
