Notes:
• The Longhorns are coming off a sweep of Texas Tech at home (25-22, 25-14, 25-15) to reach their 20th win of the season. Junior Ebony Nwanebu led with 15 kills on 25 swings and only one error for a .560 hitting percentage. Junior Cat McCoy recorded 16 digs and sophomore Morgan Johnson led the Horns with five blocks.
• Texas hit .414 versus Texas Tech for its second-highest hitting percentage of the season. The Longhorns hit .494 versus Miami in September.
• Head Coach Jerritt Elliott is seeking his 400th win as the Head Coach at Texas, currently standing at 399-92 in 15+ seasons (an .813 winning percentage).
• Junior Ebony Nwanebu leads the Horns in hitting percentage with a .363 clip through 22 matches. She has hit .400 or better in 10 matches, .300 or better in all but six and below .200 in only two. Her highest hitting percentage of the season came against Oklahoma on Oct. 26 when she posted nine kills and hit .600. She is coming off her second-highest percentage of the season, hitting a .560 clip on 15 kills against Texas Tech. Nwanebu has only 59 errors on the season.
• Dating back to the 1974 season, Texas has won 83.3 percent of its matches in Austin, sporting an overall record of 540-108-1 ... the Horns are even more successful in Gregory Gym, boasting a winning percentage of .867 (357-55) ... since the 2007 season, Texas has lost only eight matches in Gregory Gym and has won 150 (.949).
