Former Men's Golfers Vegas, Stone to compete in 2016 Olympic Games

Texas Exes Jhonattan Vegas and Brandon Stone will compete at Barra da Tijuca from August 11-14.
AUSTIN, Texas – Texas alums Jhonattan Vegas (2004-07) and Brandon Stone (2013) will represent their respective countries at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Vegas will compete for Venezuela, while Stone will compete for South Africa.
The Olympic field was determined by official world rankings.
Vegas, who turned pro in 2008, has played in 20 events in 2016 with three top-10 finishes and six in the top-25 on the PGA Tour.
Stone has five top-10 finishes in 2016 on the European Tour, including a win to start the year at the BMW SA Open.
The competition format for the Olympic Games will be 72 holes of individual stroke play over four days at Barra da Tijuca from August 11-14.
