• No. 3 Texas is coming off a sweep of Texas Tech in Lubbock (27-25, 25-12, 25-18) to stay perfect in Big 12 play. The Longhorns have lost four total sets in seven matches, while out-hitting and out-blocking every opponent in the conference. UT has hit .321 and held its conference foes to a .172 mark and has earned a 76.0-35.0 blocking advantage.
• Through seven conference matches, sophomore Micaya White leads the Longhorns in kills with 94 (3.76/set), hitting at a .317 clip. Freshman Ashley Shook leads in assists with 273 (10.92/set), while senior Cat McCoy leads in digs with 103 (4.12/set), and senior Chiaka Ogbogu leads in blocks 43 (4 solo, 1.72/set).
• The Longhorns are ranked as the Big 12's most potent team on both offense and defense, leading the conference in hitting percentage (.321) and opponent hitting percentage (.172). Texas also leads the conference in blocks (3.04/set).
• Texas is the only team hitting above .300 in conference play, recording a .321 clip while being the only Big 12 team to record fewer than 100 errors (84).
• Senior Chiaka Ogbogu leads Texas in blocks (101, 1.68/set) and in hitting percentage at .395 (135-30-266), ranking as a top performer in both categories in conference play and nationally.
• Texas' leading blockers have all improved by at least 0.50/set from 2016, fueling a nation-leading block (3.4/set) and a current fourth-highest all-time average blocks per set in program history
• Texas has been ranked as the nation's top blocking team (3.36/set) for over a month (Sept 13), outblocking opponents 198.0 to 82.5 with a blocking advantage in 16 of 17 matches. The Longhorns have the eighth-lowest opponent hitting percentage in the nation (.147).
