No. 25 Women’s Golf finishes fifth at the Dr. Donnis Invitational

Senior Haley Mills and freshman Greta Isabella Voelker finished in the top-15 for the Longhorns.
KANE'OHE, O'ahu – No. 25 Texas Women's Golf concluded the Dr. Donnis Invitational in fifth place at Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course on Wednesday.
Senior Haley Mills and freshman Greta Isabella Voelker led the Longhorns as Mills tied for 11th and Voelker finished 15th.
Mills made three birdies on the third round for a 75, following rounds of 70-71 to finish the tournament at even par. Her tie for 11th was her lowest finish this season and third in the top-15.
Voelker made four birdies on day two for a third-round 72. She finished three rounds 1-over par for her seventh top-16 finish this season.
Freshman Emilee Hoffman climbed 15 spots on the second day with a third-round 72 to finish in a tie for 26th after making three birdies.
Junior Sophia Schubert tied for 43rd at 10-over par, while senior Julia Beck tied for 58th at 14-over par.
Sophomore Maddie Luitwieler and senior Anne Hakula competed as individuals for Texas, Luitwieler finishing 49th and Hakula 92nd.
Texas A&M won the event at 5-under par, while the Aggies' Madi Szeryk took home medalist honors at 9-under par.
Texas will be back in action May 31-April 2 for the Clemson Invitational at the Reserve at Lake Keowee.

On the week: It was a tough week for us in Hawaii. We got off to a slow start in round one and we did not rebound as we wanted. With five tournaments remaining on our schedule, we will hit the reset button back home and get back to work.
