NORMAN, Okla. – Sophomores Emilee Hoffman and Greta Isabella Voelker fired one-under-par 70s on Sunday to lead the Texas women's golf team in the second round of the Schooner Fall Classic at the Belmar Golf Club. The Longhorns currently are in eighth place as a team with a two-round total of 577 (290-287).

For the second consecutive round, the Longhorns posted their best 18 holes of the season with a three-over-par 287. Texas charted 11 birdies on the day and each golfer in the UT lineup had at least one birdie on the day.

Through two rounds of the Schooner Fall Classic, Texas has recorded more pars than any other team in the field with 123. The Longhorns also are second-best among the tournament field on par-three holes with an average score of 3.08.

Voelker is currently in a tie for 23rd place overall with a two-over-par two-round total of 144 (74-70). Voelker's 70 on Sunday marked her best 18 holes of the season

Sophomore Emilee Hoffman (75-70), junior Maddie Luitwieler (71-74) and freshman Kaitlyn Papp (71-74) all sit in a tie for 31st place overall with three-over-par totals of 145. Sophomore Maren Cipolla is five-over at 147 (74-73).

Alabama leads the tournament field with a six-under-par total of 562 (281-281). Florida (284-286) and Texas A&M (278-292) are tied for second place with two-over-par 570s. Alabama's Kristen Gillman leads the individual field with a six-under-par total of 136 (68-68).

The final round of the Schooner Fall Classic begins at 8:10 a.m. CT on Monday. Live results will be available at: https://www.birdiefire.com/tournament/41031/. Beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, the round will be televised live on Fox Sports Southwest.
