Farah O’Keefe finishes tied for low amateur at Chevron Championship

O’Keefe concludes play in her third LPGA major championship.
HOUSTON– The No. 4 ranked women's golf amateur in the world, Texas junior Farah O'Keefe tied for the low amateur honors as the Chevron Championship concluded on Sunday.
O'Keefe carded rounds of 68-69-72-79 for an even-par 288 over the 72 holes of competition.
O'Keefe, one of eight amateur players in the field of 132 made five birdies and carded an opening round of 4-under 68 and was T4 on Thursday. O'Keefe came back with a bogey free round of 3-under 69 on Friday for a 7-under score for the tournament through 36 holes. O'Keefe set a Chevron Championship record as the only amateur to open with two rounds in the 60's.
O'Keefe made three birdies and carded an even-par 72 on Saturday. Her 7-under through 54 holes tied for the second best 54-hole score to par by an amateur all-time at the Chevron Championship.
In her collegiate season O'Keefe has three tournament victories and has finished in the top-10 in each of her 10 college tournaments. O'Keefe has finished in the top-three in each of her last four collegiate events. O'Keefe was part of Team USA winning the World Amateur Team Championship in October and recently competed for the third time in the Augusta National Women's Amateur.
O'Keefe made her fourth LPGA start this week. Her other tournaments being the 2021 Volunteers of America Classic, 2023 U.S. Women's Open at Pebble Beach and 2025 U.S. Women's Open at Erin Hills.
