-Texas had its highest hitting percentage of the season at .438 in a 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-21) win over Texas Tech at Gregory Gym on Saturday afternoon. Junior Micaya White led the Longhorns with 17 kills, committing zero errors on 26 swings for a career-high .654 hitting percentage. White also led Texas in digs with 12. Senior Yaazie Bedart-Ghani posted a career-high 16 kills on 25 swings (.520), sophomore Ashley Shook finished with 41 assists, 3 blocks, and seven digs, senior Morgan Johnson recorded seven blocks and four kills (.667), and freshman Sydney Petersen added 11 digs.
-Halfway through the Big 12 Conference season, White leads Texas in kills with 123 (3.97/set), hitting .328. Johnson leads in hitting percentage at .419, Shook has 325 assists (10.4/set), freshman Brionne Butler leads in blocks (40, 1.29/set), and Petersen leads with 116 digs (3.74/set).
-Texas has played 10 of its 16 matches away from home with a 4-3 record in true road matches and a 3-0 mark on a neutral court. The Longhorns have a 5-1 record in home matches, including four sweeps. On the road, the Longhorns are 1-1 in three-set matches, 0-2 in four-set matches, and 3-0 in five-set matches.

-The Longhorns hit their highest percentage of the season versus Texas Tech on Saturday (.438) with 50 kills on 96 attempts and only eight errors. White led Texas with 17 kills (0 errors) on 26 swings for a career-best .654 hitting percentage. Johnson also finished with an error-less game with four kills on six swings (.667). Bedart-Ghani had a career-best 16 kills on 25 swings and only three errors (.520).
-White's offensive output against Texas Tech earned her the second Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week award of the season (Oct. 1).
-Texas is seventh in NCAA Division I in hitting percentage for the season (.290). Freshman Brionne Butler leads the Longhorns at .366 (No. 44 in the country) and Morgan Johnson is not far behind at .355 (No. 71).
-The Longhorns have the nation's second-toughest schedule after facing seven ranked opponents in the first 10 matches to start the season.
