No. 4 Volleyball sweeps No. 21 Baylor in Big 12 home opener

AUSTIN, Texas - No. 4 Texas Volleyball opened its Big 12 home season with a sweep of No. 21 Baylor (25-23, 25-16, 25-15) to improve to 7-3 on the season and 2-0 in the Big 12.
Junior Micaya White led the Longhorns with 10 kills on 17 swings and no errors for a career-best .588 hitting percentage, also adding nine digs.
Freshman Brionne Butler finished with six kills, one dig, and six blocks, while freshman Logan Eggleston added six kills (.385), one dig, and two blocks.
Sophomore Ashley Shook recorded 22 assists, seven digs, and five blocks.
Senior Morgan Johnson contributed five kills (.455), six blocks, and one assist.
Freshman Katarina Luketic recorded four kills, four blocks, and one assist, while freshman Sydney Petersen added seven digs and two assists.
The Longhorns will hit the road to face West Virginia in Morgantown, W.V. on Saturday, Sept. 29 at noon CT.
