NOTES
- Texas is 5-1 on the season, coming off a 2-0 weekend at the Shocker Volleyball Classic with a 3-1 win over No. 13 BYU and a 3-0 win over host Wichita State.
- Micaya White was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Shocker Volleyball Classic after averaging 4.86 kills per set on .417 hitting. She added 3.29 digs per set, 0.43 aces per set, and 0.86 blocks per set.
- Logan Eggleston was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 5.57 kills per set, and tallying 2.00 digs per set.
- Sydney Petersen had a solid weekend, averaging 5.57 digs per set, well above her 4.22 digs per set on the season.
- Texas Volleyball saw senior Micaya White and sophomore Sydney Petersen pick up Big 12 weekly honors on Monday afternoon following a strong weekend of play at the Shocker Volleyball Classic in Wichita, Kansas. White was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week after earning Most Outstanding Player honors at the Shocker Volleyball Classic. Petersen was named the Defensive Player of the Week following a strong outing against No. 13 BYU and Wichita State.
- Texas leads the all-time series over Rice 36-0, with the last meeting coming in 2015 at Gregory Gym in Austin.
