HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The No. 1 Texas women's golf team is currently tied for fifth place Saturday after two rounds of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate played at Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, S.C.
Texas has turned in a 25-over-par three-round total of 593 [294-299]. No. 7 Wake Forest leads the field with a seven-over-par 575 [278-288], while No. 12 UCLA is in second with a 12-over-par 580 [+12].
As a team, the Longhorns have totaled a field-best 116 pars, while also holding the best scoring average on par-five holes [4.97, -1] of any team in the event.
LINEUP AT A GLANCE
- Junior Agathe Laisne continues to lead the Longhorns and is currently in a tie for seventh. She has totaled a two-over-par 144 [70-74]. Laisne has a team-leading 29 pars on the week, which ranks third among all golfers in the field.
