The men later traveled north to Dallas for the SMU Classic and returned home for the dual meet against TCU, earning its first win of the season (191.5-100.5). The Longhorns have been led by freshmen standout Will Modglin, who's been named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week twice. Luke Hobson continues to show his dominance in the pool and had earned Big 12 Swimmer of the Week for the fifth time in his career. The divers will begin the action on both days and will be led by senior Noah Duperre and sophomore Nick Harris.
Coby Carrozza, Jake Foster, Chris O'Connor and Brayden Taivassalo competed at the PanAmerican Games for Team USA and Canada. Foster got well acquainted with the medal stand, earning four gold medals. Foster swept the breaststroke events and won bot the 4x100 men's and mixed medley relays. Carrozza brought home four medals, two golds (200m free and 4x100 medley relay) and two silvers (4x100 free relay and 4x200 free relay), while Taivassalo won silver in the 200 breast and bronze in the 4x100 medley relay.
