MEET NOTES
- During Friday's meet against TCU, Texas will hold "Senior Day" festivities beginning at 3:40 p.m. CT.
- Friday's meet will also mark the final home dual meet for legendary Texas head coach Eddie Reese. He enters the weekend with an all-time dual meet mark of 322-88 with a 292-77 record at Texas.
- Swimming during Friday's meet will take place on the long course.
- The Longhorns defeated the Horned Frogs in October by a score of 191.5-100.5.
- In that previous contest:
- Nick Harris collected the victory on 1-meter, while Noah Duperre on 3-meter.
- Luke Hobson won the 200 free and 200 back, Will Modglin earned wins in the 100 back and 100 free, and Will Scholtz swept both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes.
- Also picking up wins were Spencer Aurnou-Rhees (400 IM), Sam Artmann (200 fly), Alec Enyeart (500 free) and Peter Paulus IV (50 free).
- Both teams are also set to compete in short course racing on Saturday at The Sterkel Classic.

Team Rankings
The Longhorns are ranked ninth in the latest College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Division I poll (January 24). The top 10 includes Arizona State (349), California (337), NC State (309), Florida (307), Stanford (293), Indiana (292), Georgia (264), Texas A&M (245), TEXAS (237) and Auburn (223).
Storied Program
Texas placed third at the 2023 NCAA Championships and has claimed 15 NCAA Championships, finished runner-up 13 times and has a total of 36 top-3 finishes at the NCAA Championship meet. UT earned NCAA team titles in 1981, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2021.
Conference Dominance
The Longhorns have won all 26 Big 12 Conference titles and have claimed 44 consecutive crowns. This current streak dates to the 1980 Southwest Conference championship. Texas has earned a total of 65 conference titles (38 Southwest Conference, 27 Big 12 Conference).
Head Coach Eddie Reese
Eddie Reese is in his 46th season at the helm of the Texas program. A three-time U.S. Men's Olympic Team head coach (1992, 2004, 2008), Reese is the winningest coach in the sport's history with 15 NCAA titles. He is the only collegiate swimming coach to win an NCAA team title in five separate decades.
