Texas to welcome I-35 foe to Red & Charline McCombs Field for mid-week matchup
AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas softball program will look for another signature victory during the 2024 season when the Longhorns host No. 25/22 Texas State for a mid-week, non-conference contest at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10.
TELEVISION: Alex Loeb (play by play) and Cat Osterman (analyst) will serve as the talent for the Longhorn Network broadcast.

LEADING OFF
- Texas will look to repeat the success it had after knocking off then-No. 1 Oklahoma on April 16, 2022 as the Longhorns went on to beat Houston, which was then a non-conference foe, 6-4, on April 20, 2022 as the next game after upsetting the nation's No. 1 team.
- Throughout the program's history, Texas is 5-1 in games after beating the then-No. 1 team in the country.

- 10th place on the program's career RBI list is Desiree Williams (2005-09) with 113.
- Taylor Thom (2011-14) holds the program's career RBI record with 178.
