Men’s Tennis completes play Waco Fall Kickoff Classic

Three Longhorn freshmen participated in the tournament to open the 2024-25 year.
Waco, Texas – Texas Men's Tennis completed play at the Waco Fall Kickoff Classic on Sunday with a trio of Longhorn freshman in Evan Burnett, Rahul Sachdev and Calvin Wang all competing in the tournament.
The Longhorns started in three different draws, and Burnett earned a win in the West Semifinals of the White Draw by defeating Oskar Grzegorzewski of UTSA, 7-5, 6-3 on Saturday.
Texas will continue fall play at the ITA All-American Championships from Sept. 21-29 in Tulsa, Okla.
