No. 1 Men's Swim and Dive remains undefeated in dual meets

Longhorns defeat No. 4 Arizona State, No. 6 NC State and No. 17 Virginia at home.
AUSTIN, Texas – The No. 1 men's swimming and diving program remains undefeated in dual meets after taking down No. 4 Arizona State, No. 6 NC State and No. 17 Virginia.
The Longhorns improved to 7-0 with a 193-159 win against the Sun Devils, a 244.5-107.5 win against NC State and defeated the Cavaliers, 272-80 at the inaugural Eddie Reese Texas Showdown.
Hubert Kos began the morning with a first-place finish in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:38.91. In heat one, Kyle Peck finished with a time of 1:39.36 to move to No. 10 on the all-time best performer list.
Chris Guiliano finished second with a time of 41.72 in the 100 freestyle to secure a personal best and move to No. 9 on the all-time best performer list.
Will Scholtz and Nate Germonprez took second and third in the 200 breaststroke with times of 1:53.42 and 1:54.49, respectively.
Ryan Branon secured a second-place finish in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:42.5, while. Logan Walker finished right behind in third with a time of 1:43.43.
David Johnston dominated the 1650 freestyle with a time of 14:36.68 for a first-place finish, meeting the 'A' cut qualifying time. Jackson Huckabay added on a third-place finish with a time of 14:46.77.
