No. 7/19 Men’s and Women’s Track and Field travel to Fayetteville for Razorback Invitational

Longhorns middle distance and distance groups take on third indoor meet of the season at Randal Tyson Track Center
AUSTIN, Texas - The No. 7/19 Texas track and field program will compete at the two-day Razorback Invitational on Friday, Jan. 31, and Saturday, Feb. 1., at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
The Longhorns are on its third-straight weekend of competition after the sprinters, jumpers and throwers competed at the Dr. Mlk Jr. Invitational last weekend. The middle-distance and distance runners will be the lone competitors for Texas at this weekend's meet.

NOTES:
• Both of the Texas Longhorn programs are ranked after the first week of the USTFCCCA's weekly rankings. The men are ranked No.7, while the women come in ranked at No. 19.
• Logan Popelka leads the country in the men's 400-meter dash after posting a time of 45.97 to move to No. 4 on the UT All-Time Performer List,
• Kelsey Daniel also leads the country in the men's long jump with his mark of 8.03m (26-4.25). He moved to No. 2 on the UT All-Time Performer List the last time the Longhorns visited Fayetteville.
• The women are led by the 4x400-meter relay that holds the fifth-fastest time in the NCAA this year at 3:32.34. Akala Garrett also holds the seventh-fastest 400-meter time of 52.35 in the NCAA in her first career 400-meter dash.

PARKING:
Free public parking for the Arkansas regular season indoor meets and is available in the Baum Stadium East Lot off Razorback Road. Additional public parking will be available on nonbaseball game days directly north of the Baum Stadium. Handicap parking is available in the Tyson Track Handicap Lot off of Baum Drive.
