Abel Forger of Soest, Netherlands, and Kalin Ivanovski of Skopje, North Macedonia, have both signed to join the UT program.
Austin – University of Texas Men's Tennis has signed international standouts Abel Forger and Kalin Ivanovski to Athletic Scholarship Agreements (ASA), head coach Bruce Berque announced Friday. Both will join the team in the spring of 2026.
"We are thrilled that Abel will be joining our team for the upcoming dual match season," Berque said. "He has clearly demonstrated himself to have the level to be a major impact player on our lineup right from the beginning of his college career. He's mature, highly motivated, and drawn to the team aspect of college tennis. We can't wait to get started with him."
"It has been a pleasure to get to know Kalin over the last few months," Berque added. "He was a natural fit with our team when he came for his official visit. As motivated as he is for his long-term goals in professional tennis, it's fun to feel his level of excitement for the opportunity to pursue championships at the collegiate level. We are all fired up that he will be joining us."
