Longhorns add nine transfers, highlighted by five players among outlet’s top 50 portal hitters and pitchers
AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Longhorns' 2025 transfer portal class checked in third nationally, as announced by D1Baseball on Monday.
Texas added nine transfers, highlighted by five players mentioned in the outlet's top portal hitters and pitchers earlier this offseason.
Carson Tinney (No. 4), Aiden Robbins (No. 7) and Ashton Larson (No. 38) all garnered spots among the top 50 transfer bats.
Meanwhile, Haiden Leffew (No. 4) and Cal Higgins (No. 49) were both listed in the top 50 arms.
Overall, the Longhorns welcome 23 newcomers to their roster, bolstering the 16 returning players from last year's SEC Championship club.
Texas' full 2026 regular season schedule is set to be announced in October.
