Baseball releases 2027 SEC slate

Longhorns have posted highest winning percentage in SEC play since joining league ahead of 2025 campaign
AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas baseball team and the Southeastern Conference announced the Longhorns' league schedule for the 2027 season on Tuesday afternoon.
Jim Schlossnagle's squad will open its 30-game conference slate with a weekend set against LSU from March 19-21 at Alex Box Stadium. The Longhorns' first home league series will come versus South Carolina from March 25-27 at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
Texas' other four SEC home sets are against Tennessee (April 9-11), Arkansas (April 23-25), Vanderbilt (April 30-May 2) and Texas A&M (May 14-16).
The Longhorns' road series include trips to Alabama (April 2-4), Florida (April 16-18), Oklahoma (May 7-9) and Georgia (May 20-22).
The SEC Baseball Tournament returns to Hoover Met Stadium and will be held May 25-30. All 16 SEC programs will compete in a single-elimination format.
Texas was among the nation-best 12 SEC teams that earned NCAA Tournament bids in 2026, as the Longhorns reached the Men's College World Series for a record 39th time.
Since joining the conference ahead of the 2025 campaign, Texas has posted a 41-18 (.695) mark in SEC play, the highest winning percentage among the league.
