The Longhorns are set to face four top-nine teams this weekend.
AUSTIN, Texas - No. 8 Texas Beach Volleyball heads to Baton Rouge, Louisiana for the Death Volley Invitational on March 28-29. The Longhorns will face No. 5 Stanford and No. 9 Long Beach State on Friday before facing No. 1 UCLA and No. 4 USC on Saturday.

LAST WEEK:
The Longhorns finished the East vs. West Invitational, 3-1 to move to 7-1 at home and 16-5 for the season. Texas defeated No. 13 Grand Canyon, 4-1 before falling to No. 9 California, 2-3 on the first day of competition. The Longhorns came back on the second day to defeat No. 2 LMU, 3-2, delivering its second loss for the season followed by a 4-1 win over No. 11 Arizona State. Three pairs finished the weekend, 3-1: No. 1 Chloe Charles and Eva Liisa Kuivonen, No. 2 Emma Grace Robertson and Katie Hashman, and No. 4 Macey Butler and Noa Sonneville.
WHO TO WATCH:
Maddison Parmelly and Karin Zolnercikova lead the Longhorns with a 15-5 record, 14-5 at No. 3 and 1-0 at No. 2. The pairs of Robertson and Hashman and Butler and Sonneville both boast a 14 win record for the Longhorns. Charles and Kuivonen remain undefeated at the No. 2 position, 7-0 with a 4-8 record at the No. 1 position.
