This weekend marks first conference series between Texas and Missouri since the 2012 season
AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas softball program will look to continue to build on its current momentum and win its fourth consecutive SEC series when the Longhorns travel to Columbia, Mo., for a three-game series at Missouri. The series will mark the first between Texas and Missouri as conference opponents since both programs were members of the Big 12 Conference in 2012.
GAME SCHEDULE:
- Friday, April 4 – 6 PM CT (SEC Network+)
- Saturday, April 5 – 5 PM CT (SEC Network)
- Sunday, April 6 – 12 PM CT (ESPN2)
TELEVISION: Noah Reed and Ashley Moore will be in the television booth for Friday's SEC Network+ broadcast, before Mark Neely and Danielle Lawrie rotate in for Saturday and Sunday's national broadcasts.

SERIES HISTORY:
- A Texas win over Missouri in the series-opening game would give the Longhorns a three-game winning streak in the series history, the longest for UT since winning four in a row from April 17, 2005 to April 9, 2006.
- The four-game winning streak is the longest by Texas at any point throughout the series history.
- If Texas wins all three games against Missouri over the weekend, the Longhorns will have won five consecutive games over the Tigers, the longest winning streak by either team throughout the series history.
- This weekend will mark the first time Texas and Missouri have met on a softball diamond since the Longhorns knocked off the Tigers, 11-1, in Clearwater, Fla., on Feb. 10, 2023.
- When Texas and Missouri square off this weekend, it will mark the first time the two have done so as conference opponents since the 2012, when the Tigers took two of the three-game series.
- The Longhorns last played the Tigers in Columbia during the 2011 season, when the two teams split a two-game tilt with UT winning, 2-0, on May 7 and Missouri claiming a 6-3 result on May 8.
- The home team has had the advantage throughout the series:
- Texas holds a 10-7 advantage in games played in Austin.
- Missouri claims a 9-4 record in games played in Columbia.
- The teams have a 4-4 record in neutral-site games.

- With one more RBI, Reese Atwood will join Viviana Martinez and Katie Stewart as the only Texas softball student-athletes in program history to drive in 50-or-more runs on multiple occasions throughout their collegiate careers.

- When including the 2023 contest, Texas softball head coach Mike White has won his last five consecutive games against Missouri dating back to his time at the helm of the Oregon Ducks.

- By winning this weekend's series at Missouri, Texas will have won its seventh consecutive conference series* that begins the month of April.
- *the series must begin on or after April 1 and be the first conference series of the month.
