Texas to begin four-game swing through Oklahoma with a mid-week contest in Stillwater
STILLWATER, Okla. – Despite The University of Texas leaving the Big 12 Conference for the SEC, the Longhorns and Oklahoma State Cowgirl softball programs will continue a 28-year series with a mid-week, non-conference matchup in Stillwater, Okla., at 7 p.m. CT on Wednesday night.

SERIES HISTORY:
- On Wednesday night, Texas will be looking for its first win in Stillwater, Okla., during the month of April since April 3, 2011, when the Longhorns capped a two-game conference series with a 10-0, six-inning win.
- Wednesday's game will mark the 28th different season that Texas and Oklahoma State's softball programs have met on a softball diamond.
- The lone season the two programs did not meet since the Longhorns' first varsity season in 1997 occurred in 2020, when the COVID-19 Pandemic halted the season in mid-March.

- If Teagan Kavan earns the win in the circle on Wednesday, Kavan will earn her 21st win during the 2025 season, the most wins by a Longhorn pitcher since Hailey Dolcini earned 24 victories throughout the 2022 campaign.
- Teagan Kavan will enter Wednesday's non-conference matchup against Oklahoma State as the first pitcher under Mike White with consecutive 20-win seasons since his time at the helm of the Oregon program when Megan Kleist won 21 games in 2017 and 2018.
- Kavan is the first Texas pitcher with back-to-back 20-plus win seasons since 2012 and 2013, when Blaire Luna earned 22 wins in 2012 and followed it with 32 victories in 2013.
