Women’s Golf trio accept invitations to 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur

Farah O’Keefe, Lauren Kim and Cindy Hsu will take part in the prestigious event in April.
AUSTIN, Texas — Farah O'Keefe, Lauren Kim and Cindy Hsu from Texas women's golf have accepted invitations to the 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur, April 1-4 in Augusta, Ga.
O'Keefe and Kim will be making their third appearances in the event and Hsu will make her second appearance. All three competed in the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur. O'Keefe carded a score of 5-under and finished in 10th place at the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur.
Beginning the week prior to the 90th Masters Tournament, the international field will compete across 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut to 30 players and ties taking place after 36 holes. The first two rounds will take place on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club on Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2. The entire field will then play Augusta National for an official practice round on Friday, April 3. The final round will take place at Augusta National on Saturday, April 4 and will feature the competitors who made the cut.
Farah O'Keefe, who is currently ranked No. 8 in the World Amateur rankings, was named to the final fall watch list for the ANNIKA Award, which goes to the top female Division I collegiate golfer. O'Keefe is coming off her second collegiate victory at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge this week in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif. O'Keefe has finished in the top-10 in each of her five tournament this season, four of which have been top-5 finishes. In the fall O'Keefe was part of Team USA and won the World Amateur Team Championship. O'Keefe has a stroke average this season of 69.8.
Lauren Kim is ranked No. 18 in the World Amateur rankings and posted her ninth top-5 finish of her career last time out at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge. Kim has two wins in her collegiate career, at the Jackson T Stephens Cup in 2023 and the Betsy Rawls Invitational in 2025. Kim earned All-America honors in 2025 from the Women's Golf Coaches Association and Golfweek. Kim led Texas in stroke play in the 2025 NCAA Championship with a T14 finish.
Cindy Hsu is ranked No. 28 in the World Amateur rankings and recorded her first collegiate victory this fall at the Nanea Invitational. Hsu earned her fifth career top-5 finish this week at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge. In her sophomore season Hsu was the individual medalist at the World Amateur Team Championship and she finished T10 in stroke play at the NCAA Championship in 2023. Hsu has three top-10 finishes this season.
The first and second rounds of the Augusta National Women's Amateur will be broadcast live on Golf Channel (1:30-3:30 p.m. ET) from Champions Retreat Golf Club. NBC Sports will produce and broadcast three hours (Noon-3 p.m. ET) of live final-round coverage of the event at Augusta National. Additionally, Golf Channel's "Live From the Masters" will commence on Friday, April 3 at Augusta National to provide coverage of the Augusta National Women's Amateur, the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals and the Masters Tournament.
The Augusta National Women's Amateur, which has hosted the top women amateurs in golf since 2019, will celebrate its seventh Championship in 2026.
