No. 6 Women’s Golf tops the leaderboard after second round at SEC Championship

Farah O’Keefe leads the Longhorns with 3-under 67 and six birdies in round two.
BELLEAIR, Fla. – The No. 6 Texas Women's Golf team moved up to first place after two rounds of play at the SEC Championship at Pelican Golf Course on Saturday.
The Longhorns put up 7-under 273 as a team in round two, leading the tournament with a two-shot advantage over second place Oklahoma. Texas has three players sitting in the top-10 on the individual leaderboard.
Farah O'Keefe carded 3-under 67, along with six birdies, to tie at fourth place on the individual leaderboard. O'Keefe is three shots back of individual leader Mary Mille from Ole Miss.
Cindy Hsu registered 2-under 68 in the second round while adding four birdies. Hsu is tied at seventh place on the individual leaderboard.
Lauren Kim finished round two at 2-under 68 with four birdies. Kim is tied at ninth place on the individual leaderboard.
Angela Heo and Selina Liao each carded rounds of even par 70 for the second round.
The Longhorns will continue competition at the SEC Championship on Sunday at 7 a.m. CT on hole 1. After the third round on Sunday the top eight teams will advance to match play.
The Lineup
Farah O'Keefe put up six birdies to finish round two with 3-under 67. O'Keefe is T4 on the individual leaderboard. O'Keefe played her final 15 holes of her round at 5-under par.
Cindy Hsu recorded four birdies to wrap up second round 2-under 68. Hsu is T7 on the individual leaderboard. Hsu carded two birdies on the front nine and two on the back nine today.
Lauren Kim added four birdies and shot 2-under 68 on Saturday. Kim is tied at ninth place on the individual leaderboard. Kim played each nine holes at 1-under, with three birdies on her second nine holes.
Angela Heo carded five birdies to conclude round two at even-par 70. Heo is T35 on the individual leaderboard. Heo played her final 10 holes of the round at 2-under.
Selina Liao registered even-par 70 along with three birdies in day two. Liao is T43 on the individual leaderboard. Liao played her final 11 holes at 1-under.
