AS A SOPHOMORE (2022)
Threw 2.1 scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts against Baylor (4/24)…picked up first win of the season against Air Force (4/20)...threw two scoreless relief innings with four strikeouts against Tennessee (3/4)...pitched one relief inning earning a save with two strikeouts and no runs allowed against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/23).
AS A FRESHMAN (2021)
Named a Freshman All-American and Honorable Mention All-Big 12 selection…served as a the closer during true freshman season on the Forty Acres…led the Longhorns with nine saves and was second on the team with 27 relief appearances…finished with a 2.212 ERA with 36 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched…opponents batted .211 against him…recorded first career win with two scoreless innings of relief and two strikeouts against South Carolina (3/12)…first two saves of the season came in back-to-back wins at Baylor…pitched a career-high 2.2 innings pitched in extra-innings win over Oklahoma (3/26)…made College World Series debut with a 1.2 scoreless innings and the save against Virginia (6/24)…also played for USA Baseball Collegiate National Team during the summer.

Four-year starter at shortstop and right-handed pitcher for head coach Eliseo Pompa at McAllen High School…named to the All-State team in 2018 and 2019…2019 district Most Valuable Player and 2018 Defensive Player of the year…participated in the inaugural High School MLB All-Star game in Cleveland in 2019…2019 USA Baseball 18U National Team Trials participant and 2018 USA Baseball 17U National Team Development Program…No. 4 ranked shortstop in Texas and the 14th-ranked player overall in Texas by Perfect Game…also a quarterback on the football team, named district Offensive Newcomer of the Year in 2018.
