• placed 14th overall in the 100m butterfly (53.44); qualified 15th for the semifinals in 53.42

• placed third in the 200 butterfly (1:45.20), fourth in the 100 butterfly (46.70) and eighth in the 50 freestyle (20.06) at the Big 12 Championships
• took second in the 100 butterfly (49.21) against SMU
• placed third in the 100 butterfly (48.48) and the 200 butterfly (1:48.34) against Arizona
• took second in the 100 butterfly (48.43) at Georgia
• placed fifth in the 200 butterfly (1:49.35) at Auburn

• won the 100 butterfly consolation final (49.09 and took second in the 200 butterfly D final (1:49.68) at the Texas Invitational
• placed second in the 200 butterfly (1:51.34) and second in the 200 freestyle (1:40.63) at SMU
• placed sixth in the 100 butterfly (51.48) in the season-opening meet at Indiana and Michigan
NATIONALLY
• 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100-meter butterfly

• swam for the YMCA of the Triangle Area club team under coach Mark Toburen high school

• led Knightdale HS to the 2007 North Carolina Class AAAA state championship and took MVP honors at the state meet
• holds the 100-yard freestyle record (45.09) in the state of North Carolina
