AS A JUNIOR (2007-08)
· Swam the third leg of UT[apos]s NCAA, American, U.S. Open, Big 12, Big 12 meet and pool-record setting 800y freestyle relay at the Big 12 Championships; split 1:32.21 on the third leg, relay finished in 6:10.55 to shatter the previous mark of 6:14.14 set by Michael Phelps, Peter Vanderkaay, Davis Tarwater and Chris DeJong
· Placed second in the 500 freestyle at the NCAA Championships and broke his previous school record with a mark of 4:10.00
· Placed third in the 1,650 freestyle at the NCAA Championships and broke his previous school record by over five seconds with a mark of 14:36.07
· Swam the third leg of UT[apos]s second-place 800 freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships; split 1:33.61 on the third leg, relay finished in 6:16.54
· Placed seventh in the 200 freestyle (1:34.22) at the NCAA Championships; set a new personal-best time of 1:33.62 in the preliminary round
· Set new Big 12, Big 12 meet, school and pool records with a mark of 4:11.41 at the Big 12 Championships; later re-set the Big 12 and school records at the NCAA Championships

· Swam the second leg of UT[apos]s second-place 800-yard freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships
· Broke Matt Hooper[apos]s 11-year-old school record in the 400 IM with a new mark of 3:45.31 at the NCAA Championships
· Named the Big 12 Swimmer of the Meet after setting new conference marks in the 400 IM (3:45.31) and the 1,650 freestyle (14:42.69) while also winning the 500 freestyle (4:15.57) at the Big 12 Championships
· Swam the second leg of UT[apos]s second-fastest 800-freestyle relay (6:18.43) in school history at the Big 12 Championship
· Captured the 500 freestyle in the tri-meet against California and Indiana (4:25.84) and against Florida (4:24.33) and Auburn (4:29.24)
· Claimed the 1,650 freestyle against California and Indiana (15:31.69)
· Won the 1,000-yard freestyle against Florida (8:59.90) and Auburn (9:11.37)
· Took the 400 IM against California and Indiana (3:55.57)
AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06)
· Posted two top five finishes at the NCAA Championships, including a fourth-place showing in the 1,650-yard freestyle (14:48.24) and a fifth-place performance in the 500-yard freestyle with a UT school record time of 4:14.10
· Added a third All-America performance at the NCAA Championships as he swam the lead split (1:35.08) for the 800-yard freestyle relay squad which finished third with a time of 6:19.61
· Logged an 11th-place finish in the consolation finals of the 200-yard freestyle at the NCAA Championships to earn honorable mention All-America status
· Took first place in both the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:15.28 and in the 400-yard IM with a time of 3:48.49 at the Big 12 Championships
· First place finisher in the 1,650-yard freestyle at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 14:51.32
· Finished first in both the 1,000-yard freestyle (8:57.71) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:27.81) during the dual meet with SMU
· Took first place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:37.38 during the dual meet with Texas A&M
· Earned three first-place finishes in the dual meet with Arizona, including winning the 500-yard freestyle (4:27.66), 1,650-yard freestyle (15:15.05) and 200-yard butterfly (1:50.08)
· Registered second-place finishes in both the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:03.80) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:48.70) during the dual meet with Georgia

· Posted NCAA automatic qualifying times in both the 500-yard freestyle (4:18.58) and 1,650-yard freestyle (15:00.30) to finish in third place in both events at the Texas Invitational
· Part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team meet NCAA consideration qualifying standards with a time of 6:29.21 during the Texas Invite
· Met NCAA consideration qualifying standards in both the 200-yard backstroke (1:45.87) and the 400-yard individual medley (3:50.92) during the Texas Invite
· Took first place in both the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 15:25.32 and the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:25.95. Also, had a second place finish in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:50.16 during the meet with California and Florida
INTERNATIONALLY
· Won gold for Team USA in the 800-meter freestyle relay at the 2007 World University Games; also captured a silver medal (400-meter freestyle) and a bronze medal (1500-meter freestyle).
NATIONALLY
· Won five golds (100, 200, 400 freestyle, 400 & 800 free relays) and one silver (1,500 freestyle) at the 2008 U.S. Open
· Placed fourth in the 400-meter freestyle and seventh in the 1500-meter freestyle at the 2006 USA Swimming Summer National Championships
· Placed first in the 2004 Summer National Championship in the 400-meter freestyle
· Placed third in the 1,500-meter freestyle and the 200-yard butterfly at 2004 Summer National Championships
