2008 U.S. OLYMPIC TRIALS
· Placed 18th in the 200m backstroke (2:01.22), 21st in the 100m backstroke (55.84) and 24th in the 400m freestyle (3:55.58)
AS A JUNIOR (2007-08)
· Earned his first career All-America honor by placing sixth in the 200 backstroke (1:42.45) at the NCAA Championships; clocked a personal best 1:41.98 in the preliminary round
· Placed 18th in the 500 freestyle (4:20.02) and 33rd in the 200 freestyle (1:36.74) at the NCAA Championships
· Captured his first Big 12 Conference title when he claimed the 200 backstroke in 1:42.72
· Placed fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:37.27) and sixth in the 500 freestyle (4:22.78) at the Big 12 Championships
· Placed fifth in the 500 freestyle (4:22.23) and won the 200 backstroke consolation final in a NCAA automatic-qualifying mark of 1:43.58 at the Texas Invitational
· Won the 200 backstroke (1:46.58) and the 100 butterfly (48.38) at SMU
AS A SOPHOMORE (2006-07)
· Placed fifth in the 500-yard freestyle (4:29.10) and sixth in the 100-yard backstroke (49.65) at the Big 12 Championships
· Placed second in his 100 backstroke consolation heat (50.43), fourth in his 200 backstroke consolation heat (1:47.27) and fifth in his 500-yard freestyle consolation heat (4:28.74) at the Texas Invitational
· Competed in the 200 backstroke in six-regular-season meets, with a top finish of third place at Georgia (1:50.42)
· Participated in the 1000-yard freestyle in three regular-season meets, placing fourth at Georgia (9:36.69), fifth at Florida (9:25.89) and sixth at Auburn (9:40.44)
AS A FRESHMAN (2005-06)
· Making his first trip to the NCAA championships finished 21st in the 200-yard backstroke (1:46.25) and finished 36th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:30.95)
· Finished second in the 200-yard backstroke (1:45.09) and third in the 500-yard freestyle (4:25.42) at the Big 12 Championships
· Runner-up in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:28.91) at the dual meet with Texas A&M
· Finished fourth in both the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:36.10) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:50.85) at the dual meet with Georgia
· Placed third in both the 500-yard freestyle (4:34.42) and 1,000-yard freestyle (9:25.37) at dual meet with Auburn
· Met NCAA consideration qualifying standards in the 500-yard freestyle (4:22.08) at the Texas Invitational

· Placed fourth in the 200 backstroke (1:59.75) and sixth in the 100 backstroke (55.73) at the 2008 U.S. Open
· Qualified for the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 400-meter free and 200-meter back
· Member of U.S. National Champion 800-yard freestyle relay team
· Took eighth-place in the 400-yard freestyle and 10th in the 200-yard backstroke at the 2004 Summer Nationals
· In the 2005 World Championship Trials, placed 13th in the 200-meter backstroke
