2010 HIGHLIGHTS (Updated May 3, 2010)
•Held Stanford to two runs in 5.0 innings pitched, scattering six hits and two walks and logging six strikeouts (2/27).
•Notched a complete-game, pitching 8.0 innings against Houston, yielding one run on four hits and one walk, while striking out seven (3/6) and was named to the Houston College Classic All-Tournament Team despite being saddled with the loss.
•Pitched 6.2 innings, allowing seven hits and two runs, while striking out eight batters (3/13).
•Threw 8.0 innings, allowing seven hits and three runs, while striking out five batters (3/21).
•Earned the win allowing three runs, two earned, on nine hits while striking out three over 5.0 innings against Texas Tech (3/28).
•Took home the win giving up only three earned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out eight over 8.0 innings of work against No. 17 Oklahoma. (4/3)

•Crafted the 21st no-hitter in school history, allowing just two walks while striking out 10 over 9.0 innings in a win vs. Penn State (3/1).
•Opened conference play with a win, shutting out Missouri (3/14) over 7.0 innings with just two hits and two walks while striking out seven.
•Worked 4.0 innings of hitless shutout relief against Texas A&M (5/9) allowing just three walks while striking out five.

· Fanned a season-high 11 batters in 6.0 innings while allowing only two runs on six hits against UT Pan American (2/26) to earn his first career victory.
· Pitched 4.0 innings of relief and earned win against Kansas (3/14), allowing four hits and two runs while striking out four.

HIGH SCHOOL
· Four-year letterwinner as a pitcher and shortstop for Coach Kelly Shackelford at Bowie (Texas) High School.
· Posted a 10-2 record with one save, a 0.81 ERA, 171 strikeouts and 12 walks in 76 innings on the mound and batted .481 as a senior captain to earn District 8-3A MVP, first-team Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA) All-State, first-team Louisville Slugger All-America and Rawlings All-Region honors.
· Logged an 8-1 record with one save, a 0.94 ERA, 109 strikeouts and 10 walks in 67 innings on the mound and batted .459 to earn District 8-3A MVP, first-team TSWA All-State and honorable mention Louisville Slugger All-American accolades as a junior.
· Registered a 9-4 record with two saves, a 1.39 ERA, 110 strikeouts and 13 walks in 80 innings to earn first-team All-District 8-3A and TSWA All-State honorable mention as a sophomore.
· Earned all-district honorable mention as an infielder his freshman year.
