Played in all 12 games and made one start (Oklahoma State) … totaled 16 tackles (12 solo) with two blocked punts … made his collegiate debut in the season opener against No. 10 Notre Dame … had a tackle in the victory on special teams … made two more tackles in a week two victory over UTEP … also blocked a punt in the first quarter … his blocked punt was the first UT blocked punt since Carrington Byndom did so in 2012 … became just the fourth player in UT school history to ever block a punt in back-to-back games when he did so against California … added a special teams tackle in the game … made his first career start at safety in a week four loss to Oklahoma State … had one tackle in the game … had one kick-off return for 21 yards against OU … had two solo tackles in the game against Iowa State … had one kickoff return for 23 yards against Baylor … had two solo tackles against Texas Tech … had one solo tackle against West Virginia … had one tackle against TCU.
