AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2020)
Named to the Academic All-Big 12 second team...made five appearances on the mound, including first career start...logged 8.2 innings and recorded an 8.31 ERA with 11 strikeouts...started and had five strikeouts over four innings during the win against UTSA on Feb. 18...first appearance on the mound was at Rice on Feb. 14.
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2019)
Led Texas with five saves following a redshirt season...finished with a 4.05 ERA and a 2-1 record in 22 appearances...struck out 44 batters to just nine walks in 33.1 innings pitched...recorded the save in the season finale, pitching 2.1 innings and striking out three batters...pitched a scoreless inning with two strikeouts against Incarnate Word on May 14...struck out two in a scoreless inning against West Virginia on April 27…had four strikeouts in two innings against Kansas State on April 14…had three strikeouts over 1.1 innings and got the win against Xavier on March 31…had seven strikeouts over 3.0 innings and the save against LSU on March 2…first save of his career was against Purdue on Feb. 24…first career appearance and first career win was on Feb. 16 at Louisiana.
AS A FRESHMAN (2018)
Did not pitch during the 2018 season while recovering from Tommy John Surgery.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in three seasons at Cedar Park HS under head coach Kris Gawriluk…underwent Tommy John surgery in his senior season…as a junior, went 7-1 with a 0.65 ERA…struck out 94 batters in 53.2 innings pitched…named Newcomer of the Year, Cedar Park Pitcher of the Year, and Academic All-District that season…named to the Austin American-Statesman’s All Central Texas Team and the 2015 WWBA World Championship All-Tournament Team…also selected to the Texas/Louisiana Area Code Team.
