AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2022)
Pitched a complete shutout game with only two hits and two strikeouts against TCU (4/8)...recorded his fifth win of the season with a career high of 12 strikeouts only issuing one run on two hits against Oklahoma (4/1)...threw five scoreless innings with eight strikeouts and allowed zero runs against Alabama (2/25)...got his first win of the season in the season opener against Rice pitching six scoreless innings with eight strikeouts and only three hits allowed (2/18).
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2021)
Named to the NCBWA Freshman All-America first team…named an Honorable Mention All-Big selection…made 19 total appearances with 14 starts on the mound…finished with a 9-1 record and a 1.88 ERA in 91 innings pitched…struck out 80 batters to only 23 walks and held opponents to a .201 batting average against…made first start of the season with three scoreless innings against BYU (2/24)…picked up first win of the season in a designated start with four innings pitched against Sam Houston (3/9)…pitched six scoreless innings with six strikeouts in the win over SFA (4/7)…tossed a career-high 8.1 innings and allowed just one run at Texas State (4/20)…pitched 7.2 innings of relief with seven strikeouts against Texas Tech (5/2) and picked up the win…moved into the weekend rotation to finish the season…pitched seven shutout innings at TCU (5/9)…pitched six innings with six strikeouts against West Virginia (5/22) as Texas won the Big 12 title…pitched twice at the College World Series, first with two scoreless innings of relief against Mississippi State and then a 5.2 inning start with six strikeouts and two runs allowed.
AS A FRESHMAN (2020)
Named a shortened season Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper...did not allow an earned run during shortened first season at Texas...pitched 17 innings and struck out 18 batters with only two walks allowed...opponents batted just .158 against...made a total of six appearances, including one start, and posted a 2-0 record with one save...pitched 3.2 shutout innings of relief against Cal State Fullerton to pick up second win of the season...had six strikeouts over 5.0 innings during his first career win against Sam Houston State on Feb. 25…had four strikeouts over 3.0 innings, earning his first career save against UTSA on Feb. 18…first appearance on the mound was at Rice on Feb. 15.

A two-year starter and three-year letterman at Oak Ridge High School… also played outfield and first base at Oak Ridge…played for NorCal Baseball under Coach Rob Bruno for three years...named Most Valuable Pitcher at the Perfect Game World Series in 2018…named first team SFL and second team All-Metro as a junior…a two-time participant in the Area Code Games, representing the Athletics.
