Made two relief appearances, spanning two innings and did not allow a run...struck out five batters and held opponents to a .143 batting average against...pitched 1.2 scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts against Abilene Christian on March 11...made first career appearance against Arizona on March 3.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered and started in each of his seasons at Flower Mound under his head coach (and father) Danny Wallace…6A first team All-State pitcher as a senior…named the District 6-6A MVP following his senior season…helped lead his team to the regional finals of the 6A playoffs…struck out 143 batters in 86 innings pitched, to break the school record for strikeouts in a season (previously held by former Longhorn Kyle Johnston)…also broke the single-game strikeout record with 18…hit .302 with 27 RBI as a senior…was named second team All-District as a junior and first team All-District as a sophomore…represented Texas at the Area Code Underclass Games in 2017…first team Academic All-District…served on the Keep Flower Mound Beautiful campaign.
PERSONAL
Son of Danny Wallace and Julie Holliman…has two sisters, Abby and Kayla, and a brother, Garrett…Julie threw discus and javelin at Baylor (1992-95) while Danny was a baseball walk-on at Texas from 1986-87.
