AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2022)
Picked up his second win against Oklahoma pitching two innings allowing one walk on two runs (4/3).
AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2021)
Made six appearances and pitched six total innings during the season…compiled a 7.50 ERA with five strikeouts in six innings pitched…pitched one scoreless inning against UIW (3/23)…finished the season with back-to-back scoreless outings, against Abilene Christian (4/16) and Texas Tech (4/30).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)
Made four starts on the mound, compiling a 4.02 ERA with 11 strikeouts in 15.2 innings...had three strikeouts and only allowed three hits over 5.0 innings against Boise State on Feb. 23...had four strikeouts over 4.1 innings pitched against Rice on Feb. 16...first appearance of the season was at Rice on Feb. 16.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
Served as the Sunday starter, with 13 appearances and 10 starts as a true freshman...finished with a 3.45 ERA in 44.1 innings pitched...in final appearance of the season, pitched six scoreless innings and struck out two against Incarnate Word on May 14...pitched a scoreless inning of relief against Texas State on April 23...tossed one scoreless frame in first career relief outing, against Lamar on April 16…had a season high eight strikeouts over 7.0 innings during the win against Xavier on March 31…allowed no earned runs over 7.0 innings against Purdue which helped him win Week 2 Big 12 Co-Newcomer of the Week… made first career appearance, starting at Louisiana on Feb. 17 and allowing three earned runs on four hits in 3.1 innings pitched.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered all four seasons at Katy HS…a unanimous first team All-District selection as a senior and first team All-State…named Katy’s top pitcher in 2017 and named first team All-District…also named a pitcher for Team Texas and the Houston Area All-Star Games…also named honorable mention all-district as a sophomore…named a 2016 and 2017 Perfect Game preseason All-American.

Son of Sean and Courtnee Cobb…has one younger sister, Chloe, who plays softball at Texas Tech.
