AS A REDSHIRT-SENIOR (2020)
Named second team Academic All-Big 12...made 11 starts and played in 14 total games after recovering from surgery in 2019...started nine games behind the plate and two games as designated hitter...batted .178 but slugged .356 with two doubles and two homers...drove in five RBI and scored five runs...had a five-game hitting streak from Feb. 28-Mar 6...went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer against Cal State Fullertonon March 6...had a two-run home run against LSU on Feb. 28…went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one RBI, and one run at Rice on Feb. 16..first hit of the season was at Rice on Feb. 16
AS A SENIOR (2019)
Missed the majority of the 2019 season after undergoing surgery in March and will apply for a medical hardship waiver…started 10 of his 11 games played (8 at first base, 2 at DH) and batted .257/.336/.442…drove in two runs on a double against Purdue on Feb. 24…went 2-for-3 with a stolen base during the series-opening win against Purdue on Feb. 22…went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple against Rice on Feb. 19…first hit of the season was at Louisiana on Feb. 15.
AS A JUNIOR (2018)
Hit .257/.340/.452 in his first season at Texas with nine homers and 29 RBI…played in 61 games with 58 starts (51 at catcher, seven at first base)…after the first five attempted stolen bases against him were successful on the season, he caught 26-of-56 since, good for 42.6 pct. caught stealing overall on the season…hit three homers in eight NCAA Tournament games…was named to the Austin Regional All-Tournament team after going 4-for-8 with two homers, five RBI, four runs scored, six walks, and no strikeouts…went 2-for-3 with four RBI on June 1 vs. Texas Southern…went 2-for-4 with his second career triple on May 19 vs. TCU…went 2-for-5 with a home run and a double on May 4 at Texas Tech…collected three straight two-hit games from April 24-28…went 3-for-4 on April 17 vs. UTRGV…went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI on April 6 vs. Baylor…went 3-for-4 on March 20 vs. Sam Houston State…on March 13 at Arkansas, went 2-for-3 with two homers in the game…had a breakout night on Feb 21 vs. Lamar, going 3-for-4 for his first career hit, double, and RBI as a Longhorn…he also scored three times in the game…made his first start at first base on Feb 18 vs. Louisiana…made his first career start at catcher for Texas on opening night, Feb 16 vs. Louisiana…named to the 2017 Fall Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (HILL COLLEGE)
Hit a team-high .353 with 12 home runs, 16 doubles, and one triple in his second season at Hill…drove in 58 runs while scoring 48 times…went 9-of-10 in steals and caught 15-of-33 attempted base stealers from behind the plate…fielded at a .997 clip on the year in 51 games…earned Academic All-State honors.
AS A FRESHMAN (HILL COLLEGE)
Posted a .390/.490/.677 line with 12 homers in 189 at-bats in his first season at Hill…added nine doubles and a triple while scoring 50 runs and driving in 50 on the year…swiped four bags in five attempts…caught 14-of-39 attempted base stealers on the year and fielded at a .990 clip.
