AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)
Made four appearances with two starts and compiled a 2-1 record with a 2.79 ERA...tossed a total of 9.2 innings...opponents batted just .211 against...started the final game of the shortened season against Abilene Christian on March 11, pitching four shutout innings and allowing just one hit while striking out two batters...pitched 2.1 scoreless of relief against Sam Houston State on Feb. 25...first appearance on the mound was against Lamar on Feb. 19 where he had three strikeouts over 3 innings and also got his first win of the season.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
Made 14 appearances with two starts on the mound as a true freshman...finished with a 6.50 ERA in 18 innings pitched with 15 strikeouts...pitched a scoreless inning of relief against Lamar on April 16...made first career start on March 20 against Arkansas...struck out a career high three batters in 1.1 innings pitched vs. Xavier...earned his first career save in a perfect ninth inning against Texas Tech on March 17 to clinch the series…made the longest outing of his career, 2.2 innings against UTRGV on March 5, allowing one run on three hits...first career appearance, threw two scoreless innings on Feb. 27 against UTSA...played for the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod League and was named an All-Star...posted a 0.90 ERA in seven starts with 34 strikeouts in 30 innings pitched.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in each of his four seasons at Bryan High School under head coach James Dillard…played shortstop and right field in addition to pitching…pitched for the Rangers team in the Area Code Games over the 2017 summer.
