Slack lettered multiple times in both softball and volleyball during her scholastic career at Liberty High School ... Over 120 games on the diamond, she batted .479 overall with 186 hits in 388 at-bats, 157 runs scored, 51 doubles, 20 triples, 34 HR’s (including 15 in a single season) and 145 RBIs while slugging .976 and registering a .522 on-base percentage ... A 2016 first-team and 2015 third-team Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association (TXSWA) 4A All-State selection and a four-time Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State choice (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), Slack was also tabbed as the Southeast Texas Coaches Association (SETCA) Player of the Year in 2015 and a four-time District 23-3A Offensive Most Valuable Player (2013, 2014, co- in 2015, 2016) ...
