AS A JUNIOR (2016)
Named All-Big 12 Conference First Team ... Posted a 23-11 overall record (second in league in wins) with a 1.97 ERA (third in Big 12), 24 complete games (second in Big 12), six shutouts and 186 strikeouts (third in Big 12) over 213 innings (second in Big 12) ... Scattered five hits and struck out 11 during a 5-0 blanking of #16 Texas A&M in the opener of the NCAA Lafayette Regional (May 20) ... Batted .750 (3-for-4, three doubles) and posted a 2-0 mark with a 0.78 ERA in the series sweep of Iowa State (May 6-8) ... Earned her first career Big 12 Pitcher of the Week nod after going 2-0 with a 0-00 ERA and 15 strikeouts over 14 innings of work in the series win over Kansas (April 30-May 1) ... Knocked in a run at the plate during all three games of the series sweep of Oklahoma State (April 22-24) and tossed a complete-game victory in the series opening, 4-2 win over the Cowgirls ... Had a tough series at #12/9 Oklahoma, going 0-1 from the circle with a 7.00 ERA over 10 innings of work ... After beating Texas State on March 30, 3-2, Davis fired a four-hit shutout in game one of the April 2nd DH against BYU as Texas won 5-0 ... Suffered the loss in both games at No. 20 Baylor on March 25-26, but went 2-for-4 with a double at the plate in the 6-5 finale loss ... Was just 1-2 during the Rainbow Wahine Classic, but suffered two tough one-run losses while posting a solid 1.59 ERA with 28 strikeouts over 22 innings of work ... Struck out a career-high-tying 13 batters and allowed just two hits over a complete game during a 1-0 loss to Iowa on March 16 ... Allowed just two earned runs on five hits over 7.1 innings of effort in a 3-2 (8 inn.) defeat to No. 18/20 Arizona (March 12) during the Maverick Classic ... Secured win number 10 of the season in relief against UTSA (March 8), tossing 2.2 frames while permitting just two hits and K’ing four ... Despite suffering her first loss of the season against Tulsa (February 26), Davis posted a 3-1 mark with a 0.94 ERA in four appearances during the Texas Invitational ... Continued her roll at the Houston Hilton Plaza Invitational, going 3-0 with a 1.24 ERA, three complete games, a one-hit shutout of Ball State (February 20) and 17 strikeouts in 17 innings, while also hitting .429 (3-for-7) with a double, a HR and two RBIs during the event ... AS A SOPHOMORE (2015)
Was 5-4 overall with a 3.60 ERA over 20 appearances (13 starts, tossed three complete games, two solo shutouts and struck out 52 over 58.1 innings ... Suffered an ankle injury during the Charlotte game (March 7) and was listed as week-to-week until returning on April 11 by tossing a single inning of relief against Oklahoma ... Worked 6.1 total frames in relief during NCAA Los Angeles Regional action against No. 7 UCLA and San Diego State ... Started and allowed one earned run on five hits over 3.0 innings as Texas defeated No. 16/14 Baylor, 5-3 (May 9) ... Threw a complete-game shutout to pick up her fifth win of the season in the 9-0 run-rule victory at Oklahoma State on May 2 ... Picked up her first save of the season by working 2.0 innings at Texas Tech (April 24) ... Started against Iowa State on April 19, striking out five and allowing one earned run over 3.2 innings pitched ... Made first start since March 7th against UT-Arlington (April 15), walking two and striking out two over a pair of no-hit innings ... Blasted a three-run HR (vs. Ohio) and knocked in a team-best five runs during the Carolina Classic (March 5-7) ... Earned a big victory over No. 12 UCLA (5-3) at the Mary Nutter Classic (February 19), allowing one earned run on three hits with two walks and two K’s over four frames, while also singling and scoring a run ... Bounced back from a tough opening weekend to lead UT through the Texas Classic (February 13-15) with a 3-0 record, a 0.43 ERA and 15 strikeouts over 16.2 innings, while batting .300 with a RBI ... By firing a complete-game, two-hit shutout of IPFW (February 13) with nine strikeouts, Davis earned her 20th career win ... Walked and scored twice during the 5-4 victory over Northwestern as her lead-off free pass starting the bottom of the seventh was eventually cashed in via Erin Shireman’s walk-off HR ... Saw action in the circle during two match-ups at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz., entering in relief against No. 2 Oregon (3.0 IP, 8 K, 7 R, 4 ER, 4 BB, 5 K) and starting versus Stanford (2.0 IP, 4 H, 7 R, 6 ER, 3 BB, 1 K).
AS A FRESHMAN (2014)
Made 44 appearances in the circle, including 36 starts … named the 2014 Big 12 Conference Rookie of the Year ... tabbed a Top 25 finalist for NFCA Division I National Freshman of the Year award … went 19-14 with 24 complete games and a 2.38 ERA … helped her own cause in several occasions with the bat in the middle of the lineup … hit .313 with 25 RBIS and 13 runs scored … five hits were stretched into doubles … hit her first collegiate home run in her first career pitching start against Northern Iowa (Feb. 8) … tossed three one-hitters and six complete game shutouts … earned spots on the All-Big 12 First Team and the NFCA All-Central Second Team … tabbed to Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll … started 17 straight games (March 17-April 26), setting the record for most consecutive starts by a UT pitcher ... threw 176 strikeouts and held opposing hitters to a .208 batting average over 200.0 innings of work … picked up her first career win against No. 13/15 Louisiana Lafayette (Feb. 7) … finished 10-5 with 12 complete games and a 2.01 ERA in Big 12 play … struck out a season-high 13 batters against North Texas (March 11) … fanned away 10 batters in an eight-inning complete game performance vs. IPFW (Feb. 14) … Struck out at least five batters in a game 13 times … held opponents to one run or less in 15 starts … picked up the win and turned in a complete game four-hit shutout in her NCAA postseason debut against Mississippi State (May 15).

A four-year letterwinner and three-time Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association (TXSWA) all-state selection for head coaches Julie Murry and J.J. Freeman ... selected as the 2013 District 16-3A overall Most Valuable Player after posting a 0.70 ERA and 171 strikeouts during district play ... at the plate during senior season in district action, hit .661 with three home runs, three triples, 11 doubles, 15 RBIs, 34 runs scored and did not strike out ... earned a place on the Collin Street Bakery/TXSWA 3A First Team as a senior ... the Longview News-Journal All-East Texas Most Valuable Player as a sophomore, junior and senior ... helped team to an overall 27-10 mark during final season and a trip to the regional quarterfinals ... the Tyler Morning Telegraph’s 2013 East Texas Player of the Year ... struck out 15 in a one-hit performance during a 4-0 win over Bullard on April 16 ... the March 12 Longview News-Journal Player of the Week after striking out 20 in 10 innings with wins over Chapel Hill and Gladewater ... in the contest against Chapel Hill, fanned all nine batters faced ... guided the program to its first-ever University Interscholastic League State Softball Tournament appearance as a junior, when she went 19-7 with a 1.76 earned-run average and 207 strikeouts in 170.2 innings ... a threat at the plate, hitting .484 with 19 doubles, four triples and 19 runs batted in while adding 12 stolen bases during junior campaign ... selected as the District 16-3A Most Valuable Player and earned places on the Collin Street Bakery/TXSWA 3A All-State First Team and the Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 3A All-State Team following 2012 campaign ... as a junior during the state final run, blanked Liberty Hill in the semifinal game, fanning nine and providing a run-scoring single, before falling 8-4 to Hudson in the championship ... as a sophomore, posted a 22-4 mark to go along with a 1.31 ERA and 239 strikeouts in 149.2 innings. At the plate, she batted .547 with a home run, 22 RBIs, three triples, 17 doubles, 12 walks and 22 stolen bases in 24 attempts ... following sophomore season, named the Tyler Morning Telegraph’s East Texas Player of the Year and earned a first-team spot on the TXSWA all-state squad ... as a freshman, compiled a 1.45 ERA with 158 strikeouts in 111 innings while tallying a .346 batting average with four doubles, 23 runs scored and seven steals ... Davis also played volleyball for Henderson and earned Collin Street Bakery/TXSWA Honorable Mention honors following freshman season ... as a senior volleyball player, helped the Lady Lions to their first-ever playoff victory by recording a team-best eight kills in a sweep of Mineola ... earned District 16-3A Most Valuable Hitter honors following senior campaign ... an Academic All-District softball selection as a senior.
