INDOOR: Did not compete.
2018-19 (Sophomore)
OUTDOOR: Competed three times … made her collegiate outdoor debut at the UTSA Invitational … threw the javelin 44.90m/147-4 … finished ninth in the javelin at the Texas Relays with a 43.49m/142-8 mark … placed fourth in her signature event at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships after launching the javelin 43.40m/142-5.
INDOOR: Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered twice in track and field … also lettered four times in basketball … was the USATF Junior Olympics regional champion in the javelin as a senior … finished fifth at the USATF Junior Olympics as a junior … ranked as the second-best javelin thrower in California during her senior season … won the shot put at the West Catholic Athletic League her senior year.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Johnnie and Julie Johnson … Johnnie was a two-time All-America defensive back at the University of Texas (1976-79) and was inducted into the Texas Athletics Hall of Honor in 1990 … also was a College Football Hall of Fame inductee in 2007 and a 1980 NFL Draft first-round pick who played 10 seasons for the Los Angeles Rams … Julie is a former actor and cheerleader for the Los Angeles Rams … uncle, Bobby Johnson, also played defensive back at UT from 1978-81 … has two brothers, Collin and Kirk … Kirk was a five-year running back (2015-19) at UT who played in 21 career games … Collin was a four-year wide receiver (2016-19) who played in 45 games and was a team captain as a senior … Collin was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft … was born in Los Angeles, Calif.
