2009-10
Cross Country (Senior):
· Posted a top-10 finish at the Islander Splash, crossing the line in 17:43.6 for 10th.
· Finished second overall at the Incarnate Word Invite in 19:08.5.
· Placed fourth for Texas and 93rd overall at the ISU Pre-Nationals meet with a 6K mark of 22:02.1.
2008-09
Outdoor (Junior):
· Ran a personal-best 800m time of 2:21.28 at the Black & Gold Challenge for sixth place.
Indoor (Junior):
· Posted a sixth-place effort in the mile run at the Big 12 vs. SEC meet with a personal-best time of 5:02.09.
· Finished eighth in the mile at the Big 12 Indoor Championship in 5:02.85 for her first All-Big 12 honor.
· Clocked a personal best in the 800m at the Leonard Hilton Memorial, crossing the line in 2:20.23.
Cross Country (Junior):
· Competed in four events for the Longhorns and collected two top 25 finishes.
· Ran a personal-best 6K time of 21.41.0 at the NCAA South Central Regional Championship, placing 22nd overall.
· Took 28th at the Big 12 Championship with a 22:03 mark.
· Placed 18th overall and third for the Longhorns at the Greater Louisville Classic, crossing the line in 17:54.
· Finished third for Texas and 48th overall (21:58) at the Chile Pepper Festival.
2007-08
Outdoor (Sophomore):
· Recorded a third place finish in the 1,500 meter event (4:33.57) at the Texas Twilight.
· Posted an NCAA Regional Mark in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with her time of 10:54.04 at the Texas Relays.
· Placed 10th at the Big 12 Championship in the 3,000m steeplechase, crossing the line in 11:35.14.
· Took fourth in the 1,500m (4:42.54) at the Texas Invitational.
Indoor (Sophomore):
· Ran a personal best 2:17.00 in the 800-meter dash for a second place finish at the Houston Indoor.
Cross Country (Sophomore):
· Ran a season-best 6K time of 22:24.9 at the NCAA South Central Regional Championship, placing 42nd overall.
· Clocked 22:47.30 at the Big 12 Championship for 59th place.
· Finished seventh overall and third for UT at the Texas State Invitational running in 18:50.26 ... helped the team to its third consecutive win of the season.
· Took 19th place overall in 18:51 at the Islander Splash and finished 70th in 22:37.7 at the Chile Pepper Festival.
2006-07
Outdoor (Freshman):
· Made the Big 12 Championship roster as a freshman ... posted a time of 11:08.72 to finish 13th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase... ran 19:23.33 for 19th place in the 5,000-meter run.
· Had her best performance of the season at the Drake Relays ... ran a personal best 11:01.21 to finish 11th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
· Captured the 2,000-meter steeplechase championships in 7:16.17 at the Texas Invitational.
· Opened the season with a 2:20.80 in the 800-meter run at the UNLV Invitational.
· Finished third in 4:49.50 in the 1,500-meter run at Texas Twilight.
Indoor (Freshman):
· Finished 11th in 5:11.01 in the mile run preliminaries of the Big 12 Championship... competed in a second event - the 3,000-meter run -- running 10:22.37 in the 3000-meter run for 28th place.
· Recorded her season[apos]s best outing in the mile run at the Tyson Invitational... clocked 5:05.66 for 26th place.
· Ran 5:06.11 for ninth in the mile and 2:28.42 for 34th place in the 800 at the Houston Indoor.
· Took sixth in 5:08.30 in the mile at the Leonard Hilton Memorial meet.
Cross Country (Freshman):
· Finished seventh among the Texas runners and 56th overall at the NCAA Regional Championship (6K) in 22:51.
· Was the sixth speediest UT runner at the Big 12 Championship (6K), crossing the line in 23:47.
· Seventh overall in 18:40 at the Texas State Invitational (three-mile) and was the third fastest Longhorn at the Texas A&M Invitational (5K) and 26th overall with a time of 19:43.
· Was 13th overall at the Islander Splash (5K) in 19:17 and fourth for UT at the Chile Pepper Festival (6K) with a 22:43 clip.
PRIOR TO TEXAS
· Ran at the Texas high school cross country state championships as a junior and senior at Pflugerville High School for Susan Murphy (former UT track standout under maiden name Abernathy).
· Soccer standout who received second team all-region and first team all-district honors.
· Outside of training, volunteered as a coach for a youth soccer team and a member of National Honor Society.
PERSONAL
Born Lauren Annastasia Salisbury on May 28, 1988 in Austin Texas to Gary and Rebecca Salisbury ... the oldest of four brothers and sisters ... advertising major ... two-time Big 12 Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll selection (Fall and Spring 2007).
